Design finds THAT ARE worth sharing
Now and then, you come across a supplier doing something new and exciting—brands that bring a fresh perspective to craftsmanship and storytelling in design. Some of these discoveries have popped up on my Instagram, while others are trusted suppliers I came across while working for award-winning studios before setting up on my own. Those experiences gave me a deep appreciation for exceptional design and the ever-evolving creativity within the industry.
COLOURS OF ARLEY
Founded by photographer Louisa Tratalos
Colours of Arley is a brand that transforms personal stories into distinctive stripe patterns for interiors. What began as a search for the perfect stripe for a beloved pet’s perch evolved into a creative venture that celebrates individuality through bespoke fabric. Louisa’s background in photography influences her approach, ensuring each stripe tells a unique visual story. Whether used for curtains, upholstery, or accessories, these custom designs bring a meaningful and personal touch to any space.

NOT QUITE PAST
Founded by Jack Marsh & Adam Davies
Not Quite Past uses AI to create made-to-order Delftware tiles—an unexpected fusion of heritage craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology. This blend of old and new immediately caught my eye. As someone who appreciates the reimagining of traditional techniques in fresh and thoughtful ways, I find their work truly compelling. No surprise they’ve been featured by the BBC, the Financial Times, and The Spectator.
